Gary Leinon
Gary started timing with Tortoise & Hare in 2013. Gary is a registered nurse by day and a Tortoise & Hare timing tech by night and weekend. Gary is very detail oriented and excellent navigating the software. Race directors are in good hands when Gary is assigned to your race.
Jamie Kissack
Jamie started with Tortoise & Hare in 2013. She is an avid runner and was interested in helping out at events. During weekdays, Jamie supervises the production of specialty paneling products for Pukall Lumber and a finish line coordinator on weekends. Jamie helps set up, take down, and coordinate the volunteers at the finish line.

Karen McCabe
Karen began timing races with Tortoise & Hare in 2016. Karen has many years of experience as an event planner as the President of the Lakeland Area Mountain Bike Organization (LAMBO) and the Race Director for the Wolfman Triathlon in White Lake, WI. The Wolfman tests participants ability to white water kayak the Wolf River, mountain bike several miles through wooded trails, and run along the Wolf river. She is an outstanding event planner and avid mountain biker. By day, Karen is a supervisor at a local bank. We are very pleased that she has joined our team.
Donovan Gillespie
Donovan began assisting with races as a finish line coordinator since 2012. He quickly advanced to a timing tech because of his knowledge of computers and a quick study of the timing software. Donovan helped recruit Gary to the team. Donovan loves to play basketball and is a WIAA basketball referee in the timing off-season. Donovan is a self employed residential designer in the Minocqua area.
